This assignent has 3 parts. Part 1. You will have to complete a discussion deck that has about 6 slides
(based off scenario 3 attached). Part 2 You will write up a 350 word concise and polished “heads up” email sent to the person who requested that you work on the project “your boss” (directions attached).
Part 3 You will complete the communication strategy worksheet(also attached).
I will attach the assignment directions, the scenario that needs to be read for the discussion deck, the communication strategy worksheet that needs to be completed, an example of a completed communication strategy worksheet for a discusion deck, and some examples and helpful tips on how to do a discusion deck, documenton email etiquette, as well as some help slide from class (starting on slide 9 for the discussion deck).
Background on the scenario (Please read Full Scenario attached):
You are the executive assistant to Helene Grayson, Vice President of Consulting Service. Because you have taken a strategic communication course, Helene asks you to recommend:
Social Media Guidelines. The type of details that should go into the social media policy or supplement to make clear the companys expectations for social media behavior
Communication and Support Plan.
The best way to communicate the policy and guidelines to increase acceptance and a way to provide ongoing support so social media behavior will be exemplary for the long-term She wants you to present your recomme-ndation to Karla and her staff.
Karla is in her 50s and has a masters degree. Ash and Rick are their late 30s and hold bachelors degrees.
The rest of the HR employees, who will not be in the meeting, are in their late 20s and early 30s.
If the HR manager and staff agree with your recommendation, they will use it to make the final decision about what should be done. HR will also be responsible for implementation.
