Consult your chart of English consonants, the one that provides place and manner of articulation. Then,

1. Using IPA symbols and slashes (e.g., /g/), identify a) 1 alveolar sound, b) 1 bilabial sound, c) 1 affricate sound, d) 1 voiceless sound.

2. For your sound in a), provide a word that contains that sound in its final position. For your sound in b), provide a word that contains that sound in its initial position. For your sound in c), provide a word that contains that sound somewhere in the middle. For your sound in d), provide a word that contain that sound in its final position

Don’t “borrow” the sounds and words of a person posting before you!

Example of what it should look like:

A. Alveolar sound in final position. Light. /t/

B. Bilabial in its initial position. babe /b/

C. Affricate in middle position. soldier /d3/

D. Voiceless in its final position. peep /p/
