Rhetorical Analysis of the movie

Rhetorical analysis is a method of discussing a text byanalyzing its parts. In this case, the text is the movie you watched for yoursummary.

You are not necessarily agreeing or disagreeing withthe content in a rhetorical analysis. You are taking the textapart to see how it functions, or how it works.

This type of essay questions how the text impacts society, asks what the text’s deeper implications are, and what the text excludes aswell as includes. “When you approach something critically, you harness yourfaculties, your fund of knowledge, and your experiences to understand, appreciate, and evaluate the text” (Kennedy, X. J. et al. The BedfordReader, 13th ed. p. 16) This means you are looking at items like scenery, characterization, motivation, dialogue, and deciding how well they worktogether as well as HOW they work together. This is not simply an evaluation,or a film review, it is an ANALYSIS of the pieces and how they fit together tocreate a message.

This essay should be 500-750 words with a Works Cited pageciting the movie you watched.
