This course prepares students for a variety of academic and other situations such as formal presentations. Topics will include famous psychology experiments. Students are to present following the instructor guidelines. This presentation should be about 10 minutes long, followed by a 2 to 5-minute video, and class discussion. A PowerPoint should be created for this presentation including 6 slides at minimum with the following topics: Hypothesis, Methods (Participation, Materials, and Procedure), Results, Discussion, and Relation to Experimental Psychology. Be mindful that the slides should not be verbose. The Presentation due date is listed on the schedule and there are various presentation times throughout the semester when a student will be able to present.
