Navigate to the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) website

and do some reading related to soil moisture or lack of moisture (e.g. cropland management, drought, no-till, salinity, etc.). Then see if you can find a unique news story from anywhere in the world from the last 6 months that you now understand better having done a little research at the NRCS first.
