Place the primary source documents on Mexican Americans and African Americans in dialogue with one another and textbook reading, particularly the discussion of the Four Freedoms. What do you learn about the experience of both racial/ethnic groups during this era? What were the freedoms they were advocating for during this time? What were their roles during WWII and how were they impacted on the homefront? 

Be sure to engage explicitly with the week’s readings. Use examples and quotations from the texts to demonstrate you’ve read carefully and to support all your claims.
