Initial Post

Following up on the week 2 discussion regarding research ethics, discuss the relevant ethical concerns that could possible become an issue (even if a remote issue) related to your study.  Include a discussion about the standard documentation researchers must supply research participants.

Headings

Copy and paste the below headings into your blank document or discussion comment box and then add relevant content under each one.  

• Research Purpose Sentence (begin with, “The purpose of this research study is …)
• Participant demographics
• Ethical Consideration 1 (describe it from the APA research guidelines document and then indicate why it might be relevant to your study)
• Ethical Consideration 2 (describe it from the APA research guidelines document and then indicate why it might be relevant to your study). Continue using this format for additional ethical considerations for your study
• References

Post Structure

• Initial post at least 150 words
• Response post at least 100 words
• Paragraphs must be at least three relevant and useful sentences
• Avoid run-on paragraphs (Each paragraph should focus on just one concept)
• Use in-text citations when referring to course content or outside sources
• All posts should add additional insights, examples, and/or supporting content that increases our understanding of the weekly topics
• Use required headings when indicated in the guidelines
