Requirements:

Letter to legislator with clear and effective:
Introduction that establishes your ethos
This is your connection to the issue and the tone you establish in the first paragraph.
Claim
Three reasons with credible evidence as support and justification
Counterclaim and rebuttal (at least one)
Powerful Conclusion

At least 4 Sources Referenced
You must start with SIRS (no wikipedia/blogs etc – your source must be an “Expert” on the topic at hand so that you can establish ethos)
You must have a balance of ETHOS, PATHOS, and LOGOS to create a strong argument – don’t rely heavily on any one source

Separate Annotated MLA Bibliography
All sources correctly cited in MLA format (alphabetical order)
Explanation of the relevance and credibility of each source as it pertains to your argument
