PROMPT FOR PAPER 1 DRAFT: BLACK FREEDOM MOVEMENT

PROMPT:  Use evidence from course readings, videos, and Power Points to explain and analyze the black freedom movement (including the civil rights movement) from the 1940s through the 1960s in the United States.  Identify specific changes activists sought and explain strategies they used to challenge segregation and racial discrimination.
