If you attended the LADDER Speaker Series event on 2/22, tell me something new you learned and something you want to learn/discuss more.  Feel free to share any other thoughts you may have too.

On 2/22  I attended the LADDER Speaker Series event on zoom which was amazing . I learned alot from Dr. Collins especially about Disability Critical Race Theory. According to Dr. Collins I learned that DisCrit is a tool for exploration and analysis of the socially constructed interdependent nature of identifications of race and of ability. Also , how it examines the ways that perceptions of race and judgements of the disability intersects and shape recognition. DisCrit values multidimensional identities and troubles singular notions of identity such as race or dis/ability or class or gender or sexuality, and so on.
