The first part of the paper will be on the following topics:

1. Describe the physics of the sounds you hear.

 As part of this description, describe what sound is, and how it gets from the sound source to the ear.

2. Describe the physics of the light you see.

 As part of this description, describe what light is, and how it gets from the light source to your eye.

Please write no more than 1.5 pages (reasonable font size and line spacing). 

This writing assignment is not exactly a research paper, so you can use your own words for all of it, but if you use someone else’s words, make sure you give them credit.
