Decide on one of the following “themes” of the Grand Canyon and check out the links within that theme. Then write a response for your discussion to the theme and web article(s) that you selected.

Theme 1: Mapping the Grand Canyon. For this theme, navigate to the Library of Congress link at  and to the ArcGIS Story Maps link at 

Theme 2: The Formation of the Grand Canyon. For this theme, go to the “Grand Canyon Explorer” website at  and the National Park Service website at 

Theme 3: Climate and Weather of the Grand Canyon. If you select this theme, travel to the National Park Service link at  and check out the NPS’ “Climate Overview of the Grand Canyon Region” at  On the second link, pay special attention to the differences in temperature and precipitation between the North Rim, Inner Canyon, and South Rim of the Grand Canyon throughout the year.
