Part 1 (page 1): Choose one of the three Toulmin models (Formula, Question, or Triad) and outline a Toulmin argument on any issue, using as many sources as you need to establish elements such as Data and Backing (and any other element that needs a source). Focus on the Data, Warrant, and Claim (but try to add Backing, Reservation, and Qualifier).

Part 2 (page 2): Use your outline and write a Toulmin Thesis paragraph. Make sure you have a Works Cited page (page 3) for any sources you use. 

Note: You are free to reuse any issue and sources from the first four assignments we’ve done. You would just need to reframe things to fit a Toulmin argument.
