Write a 4-5 sentence summary of the first 10 pages of Freedman’s essay.

Then, in a fully developed paragraph, answer the following questions.  Add anything else that comes to mind.

Freedman’s argument is very different from Pollan’s.    How does he use his argument to criticize Pollan’s argument? Nestle’s argument? Is his criticism fair? Why or why not?  What point(s) in Freedman’s essay resonated with you and why?
