Response Paper #4. This is a one and a half pages (no more than two pages!) reflection on questions drawn from Craig Evans and N.T. Wrights Jesus, The Final Days: What Really Happened (Westminster John Knox, 2009). Describe what you found new, surprising, and/or disturbing about Jesus and the final days of his life. Please provide 1-2 solid paragraphs when answering each question (paragraph = theme statement with 4-5 sentences to support theme statement). 

1.    Chapter 1: Shout of Death: what did you learn about the arrest, trial, and crucifixion of Jesus (what most resonated with you? why?);

2.    Chapter 2: Silence of Burial: what did you learn about burial customs at the time of Jesus among Jews and Romans? (what did you find most helpful and least helpful in this section? why?);

3.    Chapter 3: Surprise of Resurrection: what did you learn about the surprising twist of the gospel storyJesus was raised from the dead!and what in this section might help you practically as a follower/apprentice of Jesus . . . or to become one?
