Course Description:
In this course, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) learners will delve into the application of key concepts, frameworks, and models essential for fostering health promotion and disease prevention in population-focused health. Emphasis will be placed on addressing the unique needs of diverse and vulnerable populations. Learners will critically evaluate individual and population wellness through the lenses of multicultural, ethnic, traditional, and spiritual perspectives. The course aims to explore the root causes of disparities in wellness among diverse and vulnerable populations. Through a comprehensive analysis of effective health assessment methods and communication strategies, participants will identify and apply best practices in developing a population-focused approach to health promotion and disease prevention.
