What Is a QI Project?

A DNP project is an evidence based Quality Improvement (QI) project or alternatively a practice change initiative impacting patient care outcomes. It uses systematic, data‑guided activities designed to lead to measurable improvement in healthcare delivery or patient outcomes within a specific setting. It is not a research project, a research study or an education plan or session(s).
An example may be the implementation of a tool or checklist, or a program impacting patients and/or staff health and well-being. (MY example and my DNP project is about language barrier in healthcare)
