Overview:
Your taskforce committee has been successful in the development of work policies, D &
I implementation training plan, and cultural assessment and evaluation of the
organization’s current state and readiness for building a more inclusive culture. In this
next phase of the taskforce tasks is to conduct research to compile a list of
recommendations for strategies that may be utilized to achieve a more diverse and
inclusive workplace, and where best practices to assure equity and belonging are
promoted, encouraged and supported. The article on pages 326-333 in your text, titled:
“What do Organizations do to Manage Diversity? Examining Corporate Leadership,
Training, Mentoring, Employee Resource Groups, and Social Responsibility Programs”
can provoke thought about various strategies that might be considered for inclusion in
the report. You can also refer to the course resources for additional sources that may
be conferred. Additionally, your taskforce should include in your recommendation report
a benchmark of best practices from at least 3 or more organizations from which Regal
Motors can plan future initiatives and improvements.
Instructions:
Your taskforce should produce a report that recommends at least 8 strategies, including
specific rationale for each, to be instituted by Regal Motors. Also included in the report
should be a benchmark of best practices in D & I strategies from at least 3 or more
organizations.
Requirements of the final product: The group’s report should be at least 4 pages
written with APA standards and include at least 4 scholarly sources to inform the
narrative content. A reference page should be included, but is not part of the page
count.
