During this session long project, you will be reading and researching a strategic planning process for an organization or district. The SLP will include different assignments for each module. The Module 1 assignment is the foundation for the other SLP work.

For the SLP, you will outline the strategic planning process you would use as a leader in your organization.

This module’s assignment will include the following:

1. Background information on your organization.

2. Review your organization’s vision and mission. Outline the process or changes that the vision and mission of your organization have included over the last few years.

3. State any current organization goals that are in place and the process used to evaluate those goals annually.

4. Summarize any existing strategic planning procedures that are in place for your organization.

This paper should be 3-4 pages, excluding the cover page and reference pages for the length.
