Immersion experience Part 1 (Part 2 Due Unit 6)

Please reference Unit 6 for more information regarding the PDP. The Rough Draft consists of the following:

• Beginning of semester personal assessment comfort/knowledge
• Group for immersion identified
• Explain reasons for selecting this population
• 4 goals for increasing knowledge of multicultural competency with this population
• List plan for cultural immersion experience related to selected group
• List plan for engaging with media related to the selected group
• General development of personal multicultural competency
• Discuss other populations that you considered and reasons why you were considering immersing yourself with this population.
• List 5 general goals for the ongoing multicultural competence that you can engage in after this class has ended/throughout your career 
• Under each goal list an action plan for how the goal will be accomplished
