I am going to ask you to watch this video regarding an interview I did recently.  She works for a company that consults large and small companies on many issues:

Although they work on areas of ranging from start ups to mergers to strengthening employer reputations, she is currently on a team that helps and assists companies with projects regarding Diversity and Inclusion, this includes: women, people of color, and other areas of interest.

I thought I would include this video as she gives some useful information on what she does and it talks a little about how important the issue of Diversity and Inclusion in companies.  She also talks about the things that are important in getting a job and in learning what you need to know to get the job done! If companies do this in the beginning, it makes it clear what their policies are and this will affect some of the issues that come up in this module.

After viewing the video and the United Minds website, you can make comments about what you learned with regards to this concept. 

Part II. Large companies and multi-national companies  always have strong polices in favor of diversity and inclusion and many actually do carry them out in practice despite what people think.  Employees are considered one of the most valuable stakeholders in a company and the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is still a strong one.  

After you comment, look up a favorite large company and find their policy with regards to employment.  This is where you can cut and paste!  Then comment on their policy.  Were you surprised to see that they had that policy.  In their CSR report (all companies also have that) you will see if the reached their goals and what they have done with regards to the employee stakeholder.  This may take some time to research the company but this will be something useful in the way of research and will help you to fully understand this concept and how it is applied.
