Read Critical Thought p.101 (Cross-species transplants: What would a utilitarian do?). Answer the questions.
1) Would an act-utilitarian be likely to condone cross-species transplants of organs. If so on what grounds?
2) Would it be justified if it involved the killing of 100 pigs for one successful transplant?
3)If only a limited number of transplants could be done each year, how would the act-utilitarian decide who gets the operation?  Your response must be extensive (10 sentences or more) and detailed.
