You will then compare and contrast these branches with one another, and their impact on American society.

Using the knowledge, you have gained in the past weeks write an essay with the following sections:

1-    Thoroughly define the branches of the US government and the bureaucracy that support them.

2-    Compare & Contrast the branches. How do they support one another? How are they different? How do they support or not support democratic governance?

3-    Discuss how they impact our society.  

The Criteria for Grading:

You will be graded on the following:

1-    Proper understanding of the three branches of the government and their supporting bureaucracy.

2-    A well-constructed, supported argument and the level of completion to which you answer the essay prompt questions. 

3-    Use of proper grammar and sentence structure

4-    Proper spelling (use spell check)

5-    Use of proper citations (APA format)

6-    Completion of essay
