Conflicts are bound to arise within student communities. There are two kinds of crisis that present themselves often with students and those include health and financial. A crisis can be defined as a situation where potential harm or danger may occur. When challenged with the idea of putting an individual’s needs before a community’s needs, we have to breakdown the situation to evaluate. There are potentially hundreds of other students in that community. We can not disregard the needs of all other’s to address the needs one of individual, especially if providing care for the individual student interferes with caring for the whole community. It would be logical to go by the numbers and help as many people as you can within the situation.Crisis intervention helps up manage these difficult situation (Cavaiola & Colford, 2018).  Brain storming can help with problem solving process, but having a general plan of action for kinds of crisis we are familiar with can assist with the execution of the intervention.
