The American Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Nurses and the International Council of Nursing Code of Ethics define professional ethics and their importance in the healthcare environment.  What are the common themes seen in the two codes, as they relate to your nursing practice?

Support your discussion and opinions with facts, relevant examples from your nursing practice, and at least two citations from the readings or peer-reviewed professional nursing literature. Include a minimum of two references besides the ANA Code of Ethics.
