M8 Graded Lab Exercise

Download the attached document.  Complete each part of the exercise.  Save the completed document to your hard drive and add your name to the file name. Once complete return to this page and upload the document to complete the assignment.

The materials in this course are cumulative, comprehensive, and each succeeding module will require a thorough understanding and application of materials from previous modules.

Practical exercises will vary in duration and length for each module and may take up to 8 hours (or more) to complete for some modules.

All submissions must be typed. Handwritten submissions will not be graded.

NOTE: Some students have reported difficulty with the larger downloads, both in terms of time to download and file corruption.  You have been provided with several different options here for downloading the files. If your downloads are taking any longer then it is recommended that you break up the downloads into smaller files.

IMPORTANT: The Tiger files must be contained within one single folder.  You will need to create a folder and place the 7 files alone in the folder.

For the Tiger files:

1. Create a single folder, call it anything that you like.
2. Unzip/download/place the files into that single folder with no other files present.
3. Select “image file” as your image selection
4. Select file/Source selection. It should be:  … > Folder > Mac_OS_X4_Tiger.001
5. Anything else will produce an error and will not work.
