After reading Frederick Douglass’ Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave, answer the following:

 

1.  Describe Frederick’s relationship with his parents.

2.  Describe what happens when Frederick gets to the home of the Aulds in regards to education.   Be sure to explain the role of both Mrs. and Mr. Auld.

3.  Describe the significance of The Columbian Orator.  In particular explain the significance of the Dialogue between a Master and Slave.

4.  Explain how Frederick gets involved with the Anti-Slavery Movement.

 

 

This assignment will be worth 25 points.  Please be sure to cite from Douglass in each response.  This assignment needs to be 500 -1000 words long.   This assignment is due on 3/14 at 4:30  pm, but I will take late assignments until 4/18 at 11:55 pm.   Late work will have 10 points deducted.
