In November 2021 the COP 26 conference took place in Glasgow, Scotland. Diplomats from across the globe met to discuss ways to combat the climate crisis. While it was agreed that fossil fuels must be phased out, no solutions were reached to slow down global warming.
Just as important as the result of the Glasgow Pact, are the voices of 100,000+ protesters (including Greta Thunberg) in the streets surrounding the meeting location. Protesters recognized the social inequality caused by climate change and demanded the consideration of human rights.
